Stop Bill Lockwood and the Iowa Park Church of Christ's Campaign of Hatred

The Iowa Park Church of Christ (Iowa Park, TX) is a small, fundamentalist congregation led by Tea Party extremist and self-proclaimed "cowboy" Bill Lockwood. Following in the ugly tradition of Westboro Baptist Church, the Hutaree Militia, and the Army of God, IPCOC peddles a distorted brand of right-wing, proto-fascist "Christianity" that promotes hatred, intolerance, and fear. A cursory glance at Lockwood's sermons (see http://www.iowaparkcoc.org/backtothebible.html) reveals his deep contempt for Jews, Muslims, homosexuals, people of color, and anyone who doesn't share his far-right Christian dominionist ideology. At present, Lockwood and IPCOC are stoking the fires of anti-Muslim bigotry in our community by sponsoring a series of inflammatory "seminars," the sole purpose of which is to generate fear and misinformation regarding the religion and culture of Islam.
