Tell Sean Hannity to be waterboarded

On April 22, 2009, Sean Hannity had Charles Grodin on his show as a guest, and defended the United States' illegal use of torture on detainees, even though it violates the Geneva Convention and is unconstitutional.

But Hannity didn't stop there. In response to Grodin's questioning whether or not Hannity considered waterboarding to be torture, Hannity offered to be waterboarded himself, and donate any money earned from it to charity and the troops.

From Fox News, April 22, 2009:

GRODIN: You're for torture.

HANNITY: I am for enhanced interrogation.

GRODIN: You don't believe it's torture. Have you ever been waterboarded?

HANNITY: No, but Ollie North has and I've talked to him about it.

GRODIN: Would you consent to be waterboarded so we can get the truth out of you? We can waterboard you?

HANNITY: Sure.

GRODIN: Are you busy on Sunday?

HANNITY: I'll do it for charity. I'll let you do it. I'll do it for the troops' families.

GRODIN: I wouldn't do it. I'll hand you a towel when you come out of the shower.
Whether Hannity intended to be snarky or truthful, he did offer to be waterboarded and does stand behind the notion that somehow waterboarding is not very serious.

Either way, if Hannity can raise money for the troops and charity by being waterboarded, and has offered to do it on live TV, shouldn't he be held to it?

Please sign this petition telling Sean Hannity to undergo waterboarding as he promised to raise money for charity and the troops. So far, Keith Olbermann has offered $1000 for every second Sean Hannity lasts in a waterboarding session.

If you agree that waterboarding is torture, that it's abominable that Sean Hannity made light of it on his show, and should follow through with being waterboarded, please sign this petition and send it onto your friends.
