Dear IKEA Germany,
We, the undersigned, ask you kindly but strongly to make a stand for vegetarians/vegans and offer a meatless option of the classic IKEA hot dog.
We appreciate that you are already offering a tomato-mozzarella pie as a snack for vegetarians.
But it is not only more expensive, it is also not possible for vegans to eat it. Plus it keeps us vegetarians/ vegans from the famous "IKEA hot dog experience" everybody is looking forward when going to one of your stores. Also, it only strengthens the common notion that vegetarian food is more expensive and just "different" from "normal" food.
We would be very pleased if you would decide to get a tofu hot dog on the menu, as it is already been done at IKEA UK. You started to make everyone crazy about your hot dogs - now please ofer them to vegetarians and vegans, too :)!
You have the opportunity to take a modern and popular decision. And, of course, to make a difference.
