STOP ABORTION

Pro-life supporters over the past thirty years have been able to pass initiatives to reduce the number of abortions. Legislation requiring parental notification when minors seek abortions, waiting periods, full disclosure of developmental stages of the unborn child, and stopping the horrendous practive of partial birth abortion have been hard fought victories by pro-lifers.

President Obama supports the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA). If passed by Congress, FOCA would cancel all laws enacted to limit abortion since Roe v Wade. It is doubtful that Congress will try to pass FOCA all at once. Instead, It may be passed piecemeal by hiding portions of it in massice spending bills.
