Mattel: Sell the Zendaya Barbie!!

Many of us have daughters who admire Zendaya. She is a wonderful actress, but more importantly an incredible role model to young girls. She takes this responsibility seriously, as is evidenced in every interview she does. Zendaya continuously proves herself to be young at heart but mature enough to handle both social media trolls and celebrities with outspoken opinions.

As is Zendaya, I am also a mixed race woman - and identify with both sides of my family. I would have loved to have a doll that looked more like me as a child. My 7 year old daughter feels the same. Many young girls have now heard of the "Zendaya Barbie" - and are hoping for it for the holidays. Mattel - on behalf of these young girls who look up to Zendaya, please consider gproducing the Zendaya Barbie doll (and please make enough so it doesn't wind up on eBay for $500!!!!)
