Prevent Over Development of Dezer Way and Save Dumfoundling Bay in Golden Shores

We must stop the building of a Hotel, two (2) 30 story office buildings and dock, Marina on Dezer Way in Sunny Isle Beach, Florida 33160 named THUNDERBIRD WEST. This planned construction, which is planned to totally cut off 185th street[ Dezer Way] from Golden Shore, entirely, encroaches upon the residential community of Golden Shores and will create havoc regarding traffic, add congestion to an already overpopulated area, put stress on water, sewer and our fragile bay ecosystem and block natural sunlight to surrounding residences. The Plans for THUNDERBIRD WEST must be scrapped for a structure of no more that six (6) stories, with No bay dockage, whatsoever.  We must call upon the State of Florida to obtain the submerged land ownership of Dumfoundling Bay, under the State Land Acquisition Procedures of the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund, in order to return the natural rights of unresticted usage of the waterway and reparian rights to the residents of Golden Shores and all Florida residents, which are now severely restricted under the control of Dezer Plaza, LLC, the submerged land owner.
