Decertification-Removal of Representative Teamsters 952

The Teamsters opted to extend the current contract another year, making a 3 year contract to 4 years. The OCTA Drivers are now in the tenth (10) month without a decent offer, from 05-01-2017 to the current date. Regardless of the results of the pending vote, WE DO NOT WANT further representation from Teamsters 952. We want our wages to reflect the cost of living expenses, retro pay, and scheduling to include our breaks and lunches that are granted by federal laws. The Teamsters are also representating our competition and it appears to be a conflict of interest. The Teamsters collect Union dues from First Transit, the source that is attempting to fulfill the subcontracting by our employer. Orange County Transportation Authority and Teamsters 952 are NOT negotiating in good faith, we need a Union that understands public Transportation NOT truckers.
