A Nevada Man Violently Attacked His Girlfriend's Kitten, Then Pulled a Gun on Her

A man in Nevada was arrested last month after an unbelievable display of violence left his girlfriend and her poor kitten, Suki, traumatized.

Following a disagreement that the attacker had with his girlfriend, he sent her a video of him threatening and then brutally attacking 3-month-old Suki.

In the video, the man can be seen picking up the tiny kitten. Then, he addresses his girlfriend through the camera, saying "I'll throw your b**** a** cat." Then, he does just that, hurling Suki's tiny body directly into a wall.

He then picks Suki up and throws her again, this time into a parking lot -- in the video, you can hear her terrified screams.

This level of violence must be treated very, very seriously. Sign the petition to get justice for Suki and her owner!

After the video ends, apparently Suki's owner went looking for her. While this poor woman searched for her injured, terrified kitty, her boyfriend escalated things further -- he pulled out a gun and threatened her with it.

Luckily, both the woman and Suki are now safe. Suki was taken to a veterinary hospital for her injuries, and then was taken into the care of a local shelter. The attacker has been arrested, and is awaiting trial. But we must make sure justice is truly served.

This case is an example of the all-too-common connection between animal abuse and domestic violence. Domestic abusers often use pets to threaten, coerce, or hurt survivors. This man's readiness to hurt an innocent animal, and then his immediate turn to violence against his girlfriend, is a glaring indicator that he is a threat to anyone in his community.

That's why we're asking for this man to be sentenced to a lifetime ban on animal ownership or cohabitation, as well as mandatory mental health counseling. Sign the petition if you agree!
