Islamic marriages to be noticed and certified in the United States

I believe people should sign this petition because it will give the Muslims equal rights as a married couple in the state of the U.S. Islam doesn't use preachers or monks, we use our imam to marry us and sign our islamic contract. Thus the Islamic contract should be recognized as legitimate.
The Islamic marriage contract consist of two witness to sign it as well as the muslim women wakil (the male protector over her). We also have the imam sign it as I said in the prior paragraph. We should be notice as a normal married couple so we can have rights as well with our jobs, healthcare, housing, benefits and etc.
It's our constitutional right to do so. Our marriage consist between a man and a woman. The bible, the Torah and our Quran states that we are allowed to do so. We just like any other human being we just have a different religion and a way of getting married. It will give us pride knowing that we can be recognized as a legitimate married couple. That is why I believe people should sign this petition, simply to give muslim couples the same rights as anyone else.
