STOP Verizon's THANKSGETTING Campaign!

The Thanksgiving holiday is very important to me, my family, and I believe other members of my community and of many American citizens.

Thanksgiving has increasingly been encroached upon by "Black Friday" deals that some bold retailers started cashing in on on Thanksgiving. It started first very late, then earlier, and now I believe some retailers are starting to just be open.

Christmas music and Christmas advertising starts the day after Halloween if not earlier. That alone upsets me.

I've joked that I need to write and produce Thanksgiving songs to help preserve a holiday that is being usurped by greed.

NOW.... they have done it. I was watching Sunday night football and saw the commercial for Verizon. They called it THANKSGETTING!

Thanks to VERIZON, ThanksGIVING is now THANKSGETTING!!!

This is a line I am willing to PETITION to get off the air.

I want to bring back THANKSGIVING. AND.... I will personally be boycotting Verizon is response to this marketing campaign.
