Stop Destroying Donatable Items

Many companies receive large amount of returned merchandise or items that simply do not sell. Instead of marking them down or donating them to homeless shelters, women’s shelters or anyone who may be in need, they destroy them and throw them in the dumpster.

Those guilty range from grocery stores, cosmetics stores to even clothing stores.

These companies decisions to destroy items is fueling the massive markups of these items, adding unnecessary waste to landfills, causing pollution, and simply wasting things that can be reused.

Please help us encourage these companies to help those in need instead of wasting their goods and increasing the price of the remaining items.
