PETITION DEMANDING REPAIRS AND IMPROVEMENT

We the residents of Wynnewood House feel that we have been more than patient with the slow going process of repairs and improvements to this building. The immediate need for a new air conditioning system is urgent due to the sweltering heat we've been enduring. This building houses a considerable amount of Senior Residents which makes the constantly broken cooling system as life threatening hazard.

In addition, for years there have been countless promises made to improve the heating system, replace the poorly insulated windows and balcony doors, permanently repair leaks, replace water stained ceiling tiles and replace the terribly soiled carpets throughout the common areas. Due to the constant leaks, the list of necessary repairs within many of our apartments continues to grow and we have collectively decided that the neglect MUST END NOW!

Lastly, we have great concerns about our safety as 1) the basement and side doors are frequently left unlocked and garage doors left open 2) the main entrance front door is often unattended and 3) there's no precautions in place to keep non-residents visiting the businesses on the lower level floors from accessing the residential areas (Floors 4-11) which is a major concern given the recent incidents of violence and thievery nearby.

Please inform us of the plans and timelines to remedy these issue at once or our next step is to start paying rent to an escrow account until, at the very least, our health and safetly concerns are met.
