ABC2 - DO NOT CARVE THE ROAST

The Roast is a popular political satire programme on ABC2 - the only daily political satire programme in Australia.

In a political environment where a conservative government is introducing legislation that advocated jailing journalists for reporting on government matters, it is vitally important that our National Broadcaster maintains an independent voice.

It was announced this week that The Roast has been axed and will not return to ABC2 in 2015.
