Put in force a law to protect animals and penalize people that bad treat them

Recently, people in José Ignacio / Punta del Este (Uruguay) enjoyed throwing a pig from an helicopter to a swimming pool just for fun, cynic insane fun indeed. It is not clear if the animal was alive or already dead. Further backgrounds can be read on several news media. Anyway, this is an act of unbelievable and unacceptable level of cynicism and cruelty to animals.

Significant amount of people is simply sick, not concious or do not know about the fact that animals "feel" and that they should be respected as living beings.

Currently, there is a very limited and soft local laws in Uruguay and in Argentina to avoid and penalize cynicism and cruelty actions to animals. They need to be stregthen and put in effective force.

We want to gather signatures to send to Legislators to take actions as well as that this particular act would not remain without a legal sentence for this sick act.
