Demand For More Respect from The Office of Residential Life

Augie Students: Ever had a problem with the office of residential life? So have so many others! Sign this petition to make a difference.

Since starting at Augustana College as a freshman, I have received time and time again disrespectful treatment from the Office of Residential Life. They continually dismiss our concerns as students.

For example, they let the people in my house move into a house infested with fleas. Many of the on-campus houses that juniors move into are DISGUSTING, OUTDATED, and need immediate change for the safety and health of the Augustana Community. When the Office of Residential Life is approached by a student with an issue, they listen and take notes and then promptly disregard everything discussed.

If there is no respect from the office that is supposed to put us in health living conditions, how are we supposed to feel we will be successful students?
