I Support Improvements to Beverly Park

Beverly Park is one of the most used parks in our community. Residents of all ages use the park to play baseball, football, lacrosse, volleyball, tennis and use the playground. The park is in desperate need of many improvements such as a new field house with better storage for equipment, new bathrooms and a meeting area. The baseball fields need new backstops, dugouts and seating for spectators. A stage or pavilion would provide opportunities for concerts and various other events. The Beverly Area Planning Association is applying for a $1.5million dollar grant from the City to make these improvements for the benefits of the thousands of residents that use Beverly Park each year.
