Justice for abused animals
To help protect animals of all species from torture, abuse, and cruelty at the hands of disturbed human beings. The number one goal is to make it harder for convicted animal abusers to walk out of the court room with a "slap on the wrist". Offenders need tougher sentences and mandatory therapy sessions to help stop repeat offenders from harming sentinent beings again. With stricter laws in place, maybe people will think twice about neglecting their spur of the moment animal purchase. They might think twice about hitting, burning, posioning, or even outright killing of innocent animals. This is our goal. We must live in a progressive society and move forwards, not backwards! As a wise man once said; you can judge a nation by the way it treats its aniamls.
Im sure your well aware of the lack of appropriate sentencing guidelines for judges in animal cruelt cases. This petition calls for stricter penalties and mandatory therapy for persons convicted of such atrocities. Your support in this matter would be greatly apperciated in all communities around this great state. You must only think of your own pets welfare to make the poper decision in this matter.
