With the debate over Health Care Reform deepening and the recent death of Health Care advocate Senator Kennedy, it is time that University students across the country unite together and stand-up for Health Care Reform. Dear Fellow University Students,
Health Care, as Senator Kennedy declared,
is a right and not a privilege.
Through Kennedy's hard work and determination, Congress has attempted to reform Health Care but their efforts have been blocked.
Under President Obama, Congress is again trying to reform our Health Care program to enable all Americans to have access to affordable Health Care. Sadly, our President's attempts to reform Health Care are being threatened. In fact many of those who oppose Obama's Health Care plan are demonstrating their position by bringing their guns to the townhall
meetings.
This is scary and unsettling. However, what is more frightening is the fact that more than
47 million Americans are without Health Care and if we loose our chance to reform Health Care this year millions more will join the uninsured.
The
time to act and show our support
for Health Care Reform is NOW. Please sign this petition and pass it on to your fellow University students across the country. The goal is to get
