The state of Kerala has become a land of lawlessness where barbarous vigilantes have become heroes by slaying 100s of stray dogs in public.
The situation has arisen due to the poor execution of a sterilisation programme in Kerala, which has led to a large stray dog population, added to which the dogs feeding on food waste garbage in residential areas.
Apathy and support from politicians, media and the government to these law breakers has led Kerala descending into HELL with a brazen vicious barbarous attitute to these poor mutes in front of women and children.
The Indian constitution is clear - there cannot be any cruelty or killing of stray dogs. There should be ZERO TOLERANCE to killing animals.
Stray dogs attack because they are frightened, because they are hungry and because they have no shelter.
The State government of Kerala should work with NGO's to ensure that stray dogs are taken off the street and given shelter and fed.
KILLING IS NOT AN OPTION.

I need your suppport to bring International pressure to situtation that is getting complete out of hand in Kerala, the Southern State of India.
One a DAILY basis 100s and 100s of stray dogs are being killed by public vigilantes, the situation has gotten so out of hand that these people are being paid in gold and given guns to shoot, kill and butcher these dogs.
These vigilantes have taken to killing pups and even home owners pets since they don't want any dogs to be left alive.
This has all hapenned because of a few incidents of stray dogs attacking humans, we all understand that the cause of this is due to an over population of stray dogs due to an ineffective sterilisation programme (laregely corrupt officials) and the poor dogs have to fend for themselves and eating waste garbage and not being sheltered, in short the dogs are frightened.
To make matters worse the politicians are not doing anything about it or arresting the perpetruators who are doing this in broad day light.
Therefore i would liket to bring International awareness to this situation.
