The product known as Pan masala(modified in the form of Gutkha with tobacco) is sold in almost every shop of India and Nepal.
This contains areca nut which contains arecoline(mild narcotic). A person who becomes addicted to it becomes a slave of it. There is no other way to relieve himself other than chew a pack of Pan masala/Gutkha.
It affects the central nervous system as well as the reproductive system. Studies shows that Pan masala/Gutkha chewers show tailless sperms in their seminiferous tubules.
Isomers of DDT and BHC are found in high amount in Rajanigandha and Pan Parag. Hence, we demand the ban Pan masala and Gutkha in Indian market.
Some brand names of these narcotic products(sold openly in Indian market) Rajanigandha, Pan Parag, Pan Bahar, Goa, Shikhar, Chutki, Pass Pass, Sweet Supari, etc.
