Make Animal Abuse A Felony

Those who abuse, neglect, torture and kill animals get a light slap on the wrist, if any consequences at all. All cases of animal abuse should be regarded as felony crimes, with meaningful fines and jail time mandatory. This must be law nationwide.

Dear Animal Lovers: The law regards animals as mere property. . All crimes against living, feeling, intelligent beings must be considered felony crimes, with mandatory jail time and meaningful fines. Congress must act to make this law a crime nationwide.
