Demaned that horse drawn carriages be banned from downtown Cincinnati Ohio.

Theses animals are over worked,sometimes up to 10 hours in all types of weather conditions.

They are constantly breathing in exhaust fumes from cars and busses.

The drivers of the carriages do not obey the traffic laws which put the horses in even more danger.

There have been several cases where the carriages and the horses have been hit by cars on the streets and on the bridges.

I urge Mayor John Cranley and the city council of Cincinnati Ohio to put an end to this outdated and crule practice.

New York city is in the process of banning them also.

Why wait until a tragedy happens and then do something,do it now and set a good example.
