BRING BRUCE MARQUEZ BACK TO THE HASTINGS POLICE FORCE

Bruce Marquez was fired from the Hastings Police Department in March, 2015 - 3 months before his 18 month probation period was over. Bruce received no warning. There was nothing in his file regarding improper behavior or wrongdoings, no disciplinary actions filed.  All his reviews were positive.

Bruce was an outstanding police officer who cared deeply about his job, his family and his community. He showed interest in the kids and often went to the school to meet the kids to get to know them.  He made a point of getting to know the people in the town and was conscientious about enforcing the law.

Bruce is honest, fair and extremely generous. He is a good husband, father and a wonderful friend to anyone lucky enough to be one. He was fired 3 months after his 3rd child was born and was not given any reason for this. His life has been scarred, his reputation affected and his ability to provide for his family has been challenged.

This is a petition to let the town of Hastings know they have done wrong by him.
