My daughter was a victim of being sexually touched by her father. Even though the judge believed that she wasn't lying, he found her father not guilty because there was not enough PHYSICAL evidence (meaning she would have had to been raped). He was released the very next day. We immediately put a PFA on him. He is not allowed to have any communication what so ever!! The father still gets to see her brothers every other weekend. I have a huge concern for the safety of my two sons that still get to see him. I also have a concern for the two little girls that he has current with his wife. I know that this is a common thing that happens, I know that people are getting away with touching little children and having no consequences! UNREAL!! It is like saying it is ok to do this as long as your not raping them. I am confused by our justice system!ANYONE who abuses a CHILD NEEDS to be punished! If there is enough evidence elsewhere there should be consequences!! NO LESS than 5 Years in Jail/Prison, put on the Megan's Law, AND not allowed to be around ANY CHILD until that Child is 18 and can make there OWN DECISION to see the perpetrator!!
