It's been well over 25 + plus years since the City of Corinth and Alcorn County has had a public swimming pool and or anything close to a waterpark, or splash park for kids to enjoy swimming, or a place to get wet. I think it's well over due, and the city has been given all the resources to make this happen. We just need the City support and efforts in making this happen. You can help by signing and sharing this petition. It's time the City and Citizens take back our community and give our youth, our kids something else to do with their free time.
A long and life-time citizen of Corinth, Mississippi when I grew up there were several outdoor activities I was able to enjoy and spend time, doing like swimming, paying a various parks, and just enjoying myself as kid. Well today, as I drive around the same City I grew up in, there are sore spots and vacant lots and buildings and I think it's time for our community and elected officials to come together and build something our kids and youth would be proud of. Let's do this for our city and community, why do every child and parent have to drive :45 minutes or longer for entertainment and outdoor activities when we can offer the same thing here. Let's do this for our Kids.
