Online Graduate Certificate in Deaf Studies at Gallaudet University

Here is our petition pledging to you with a request for the ASL & Deaf Studies department to offer an online graduate certificate in Deaf Studies at Gallaudet University so that we and others in the Deaf community can become certified in Deaf Studies at Gallaudet online through technology from all over the world.

In our defense, we have careers, jobs, family, and several other reasons that will not allow us to attend these courses on campus at Gallaudet University in order to obtain a graduate certificate in Deaf Studies. However, an online graduate certificate in Deaf Studies will break this barrier and make it possible for all of us with enthusiasm to become certified in Deaf Studies.

Our petition includes all the names of supporters signed as we stand together for the ASL & Deaf Studies department to break this barrier and give all of us the opportunity of completing an online graduate certificate in Deaf Studies while working as sign language teachers and thrive in the field of Deaf Studies.
