Tell the media to call Trump's ludicrous claims what they are: LIES

Politicians may have reputations for stretching the truth, but President Trump's constant assault on the truth is wreaking havoc on national discourse and having dangerous consequences at home and abroad.

While "Trump lies" may seem like the ultimate "dog bites man" story, every time he is not called out for another disgraceful lie, the power of fact is weakened.

The free press is bestowed by our constitution with a right to report the truth, and therefore it is the media's sacred responsibility to do just that. When Trump lies, say so.

From his bogus crowd size claims and pronouncements about the economy to baseless accusations that President Obama wiretapped him and phony assertions of voter fraud, the President of the United States is a clear and present threat to our national perception of reality.

The most dangerous form of fake news in America right now is letting Trump get away with his lies. We call on the media to do its job and call the presidents pronouncements exactly what they are: LIES.
