There are people in this world who need to be dealt with using military force, but we cannot and should not fool ourselves into thinking that it is ok to achieve this by firing at suspected or known human shields.
It takes two guilty parties to kill innocent people in this scenario, one who will set them up and another who will knock them down. While we cannot do much about those who would put innocent people in harms way, we can demand that army's and governments around the world must by binding law with heavy consequence use a method that poses the lowest possible risk specificaly to innocent life that is used in human shield scenarios.
It is no longer good enough or acceptable by any moral country with a conscience, with a heart or an apparatus established to protect its own innocent people... to rest the burden of guilt and responsibility for the loss of innocent life completely on those who use human shields. It must now be shared completely with those who would knowingly or ignorantly destroy other innocent people regardless and despite their innocents, especially where armed conflict is concerned.
We are better than this so it needs to change now!!
