Demand the Spokesman Review Pull Racist Article By Shawn Vestal

Shawn Vestal, a regular columnist for the Spokesman Review, recently published an article entitled "Organizer of drag queen protests clings to delusions of persecution" in which he refers to a pastor of Iranian descent as "Brownie". This is a very offensive racial slur used to describe people of East Asian and Arab descent. We the people of Spokane and the Inland Northwest demand that this article be retracted and an apology issue to Pastor Afshin Yaghtin for this blatantly bigoted and racist article.
