Helping Food Insecurity

This is a very important issue we are not aware of the impacts it has in our community because it has just become part of our daily life. We are a student group at Oakland Tech trying to find a way to help reduce food insecurity. No one shouldn't know where their next meal is going to be from, or if they were we even going to have a meal. We are directing it towards city hall so that we can have more grocery stores instead of liquor stores. The obesity rate is increased by the minute, this is due to liquor stores being way too much closer and cheaper. We understand that you are not responsible for who live where but what you can be held responsible is that you can more grocery stores to Oakland.
