On Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Approximately 12 pm, on Elliot Rd in St Charles, Louisiana, a Pit Bull Dog whom authorities have now named Perdu, was found dead, locked in a cage. The dog was apparently trying to chew his way out and died. He had been tortured and beaten, possibly used for fighting. He was literally chained to the cage and imprisoned with no possible way out. It was reported that it was pouring heavy rain and this poor animal drowned while trying to chew his way out of the cage which was in a ditch..
When those responsible for this heinous act are found swift and severe punishment needs to be enforced. Perdu was microchipped and previous owner stated he was sold for $300 but had no record of who bought him.
