Minnesotans Against Personhood

Personhood laws redefine the term "Person" in the constitution to include fetuses beginning at conception. Some effects of this could be:

• All abortions will be illegal, regardless of reason

• Mothers with stillborn fetuses could face legal charges

• Women would be forced to seek illegal abortions (approximately 219 women worldwide currently die each day from an unsafe abortion)

• In extreme cases, the fetus would "be eligible to inherit money or be counted when drawing voting districts by population" (based on the number of laws that use the term "people" or "person")

By signing this petition, we can send a message to our legislature that we will not accept these laws in our state.
