Buzzfeed News has revealed shocking financial exploitation at restaurant chain Zizzi. Staff told a reporter that Zizzi takes a cut of their wages for a variety of "mistakes", including if a customer leaves without paying.
Zizzi is part of the Azzurri Group, which has an annual turnover £262.8 million. A business should plan for and absorb risks, and Zizzi is clearly able to do so. Taking staff wages to cover losses is greedy and unfair.
