New Dog Park for Byers/Baker/West Washington Park neighborhoods by the Byers Dog Community

The wonderful dog/dog lovers community meets every day on the grounds of Byers School, but will need a new dog friendly space.  School construction starts May 2013.  Our dog community alone, with its own Facebook community, is over 100+ residents in walking distance (see the Facebook site) and has built a stronger, safer, and friendlier neighborhood. 

Denver Parks closest dog parks are 5 or more miles away (Stapleton, Josephine, Barnum/Federal, Fuller), so a dog area around West Washington Park or Baker would be a valuable addition to the area.
