Let Ruby Stay At Eccles

Ruby is being pushed out of her school of three years due to our move just 2 miles down the road. The district has not historically enforced this rule, and many many of Ruby's friends live further outside the boundary and some even outside the district (including children of this schools staff members). The policy makes no sense and allows out of district kids to take priority over in district kids.

James and I attended Canby Schools for nearly all of our school age years, and between both sets of our parents, plus our own tax contribution, our families have paid taxes to Canby Schools for over 60 years.

We are asking Canby School District to allow her to stay and maintain continuity of educational and social relationships that took her a long time to build! Please help us by signing this petition.
