My son is 14 years old and they want to give him 24 years in prison

My son has felony charges he is only 14 years old he's never been in trouble with the law and now they're saying that they want to send him away to prison for 24 years they want to put him with murderers rapists all of the above and I think that he is not to be in this prison because he is only a child if they put my son away at the age of 14 when he's barely growing up not even knowing what he really in reality what happened they will turn my son into a monster to putting him away too long
