Banning guns in every state is the dream goal for everyone, everywhere but it is October 2015 and Obama has made his 15th statement since taking office on shootings. The most recent Umpqua Community College shooting was the 994th mass gun attack in the US in three years and almost 300 of them have occurred in 2015. The outlook is bleak in the hope that US Law will finally come to an understanding that guns should be entirely banned. If the US is not going to change it's laws on guns, with enough signatures we hope that each and every classroom in every school, college and university could be provided with a taser to help disarm anyone who tries to cause harm to innocent human beings who's lives are only just beginning. Every member of staff could be thoroughly trained on how to correctly use a stun-gun or taser and deter further loss of life. Since UK Law banned guns in 1996 there has not been another mass shooting in the United Kingdom since the shocking Dunblane School attack. It took one incident to change the law in the UK but nearly 1000 shootings in three years has not changed anything in the US. Something has to change. We need to all come together for the Umpqua families.
