Demand an end to the cruelty of foul-hooking (snagging) fish, in Hong Kong

Having been in Hong Kong recently I have seen many people using foul-hooking, (which is illegal in most of the world), to catch fish and should be stopped. It involves 'anglers' putting many hooks on their lines then dragging the lines back through the water as quickly as they can 'snagging' as many fish as possible but it is a barbarous method because unfortunately not all of the 'injured' fish are actually landed and caught, leaving many to die in agony after being snagged in the eye, the head, body or fins. You only have to look into the Shing Mun river to see many fish floating on top of the water struggling to breath after being injured to see how many fish die in this cruel and unnecessary manner.

Dear Sir or Madam, I would like to call on the government of Hong Kong to put a stop to this cruel and barbarous method of fishing which I have seen for myself on the Shing Mun river in Hong Kong. This is recognised worlwide as a cruel way of fishing which is why it is illegal in many countries including Britain, as many fish are not 'landed' and are left to die in agony in the water, leading to infecting the water as the fish slowly die, then rot.
