First of all lets talk about fight clubs in general.
Fight clubs consist of hand-to-hand (and any other body part) fighting. Some children, teenagers and adults participate in illegal fight clubs that are hidden from the law. It is thought that these actions were inspired by the book or movie 'Fight Club'. I, myself, have never read or watched it but I can understand the dangers and concepts of such things. For example, there are rules similar to, 'Don't talk about the fight club' and 'If the person goes limp or says 'STOP' then the fight ends' and the likes. As you can imagine, this puts many people's lives at risk and could easily lead to death.
So why am I petitioning to have a legal fight club?
Well let's look at the reasons people join fight clubs.
Some people who join fight clubs feel lost and are just trying to find themselves or a way out, they are the misunderstood. Other people have a lot of built up anger and can see no other way to release it, they are the aggressive. Many, however just do it for the fun of inflicting pain upon others, they are the cruel. There are many other reasons people would join a fight club but it would be impossible to name all.
So how would a legal fight club help these people?
Simple, a legal fight club would have people to make sure the fight is under control and medical staff would be around to help the injured. It is easy to see that the illegal fight clubs wont stop so why not help those involved by giving them a safe environment to do it in.
How can it be much worse that boxing or wrestling? It's not.
