DEMAND HOLLENBECK COMMUNITY POLICE STATION DO THEIR JOB, AND CLEAN UP HOLLENBECK PARK!
In a small neighborhood crossing the Los Angeles river east of downtown is a place called Boyle heights. And in this neighborhood lies a beautiful park, with lots of trees, nice hills, a skate park and a play ground. As of recent, lots of homeless people have moved into the park and made it their home. But within these homeless people are many, many drug addicts. Drug of choice, meth. On this drug you do not eat, and you do not sleep. 2 necessities the body needs!
The police station is literally down the street from this park and HOLLENBECK division does NOTHING to end this problem. Houses around the park have been broken into, a lady was even stabbed. These people steal from houses across the street from the park. Once they have the merchandise they have stolen, they simply cross back into the park and sell it! The police know this, and do nothing! I know LAPD has a bad reputation, and seeing this, and how this situation is getting out of hand, and they do nothing only fans that flame even more.
I am a concerned citizen. And I wish to see my neighborhood prosper.
I want the HOLLENBECK "community" division to do their job, and clean up this park!
This park should not be a haven for drug addicts. This park should not be their get a way place where the can go to and sell the loot they steal. This is a public park! And as a tax payer, and local resident, I demand this police force do their Job and enforce the law!
Get these people out of the park and into rehab or shelters. How can it be that down the street from the police station so much crime is committed. Who are they here to protect, if not us?
