Pass Universal Healthcare for all citizens!

Many people in the United States go every day without health care, and have to worry about spending huge amounts of money if they ever go to the hospital or need medical care.

I know many people who do not have health insurance because they cannot afford it. I also know of some friends that had to go to the hospital to get medical care but did not have health insurance and ended up paying over $1000 for their care. Almost 11% of the population in the United States has not health insurance, that is around 40 million people. The US government should start taking care of its people and stop treating health care like a privilege and start treating it like a basic human right.
