Say 'NO' To Helix!

Helix Electric, a large non-union electrical contractor from out of the area has been awarded a $50M electrical job at the East Bay Municipal Utility District Orinda CA Pumping Station.

This does not allow local IBEW workers, who are also rate-payers of the District, to perform work on their own district facilities, stripping away local funds necessary for maintenance to a non-signatory out-of-town contractor.

We want to encourage the EBMUD Board of Directors to decline the Helix Electric contract and award the work to one of the local General Contractors who will subcontract to a signatory local electrical contractor.
