Abandon Greenway/Railway

North End Center st from Freeman St to Riway St there has been an Abandoned Greenway/Railway, it has been used as a dumping ground that breeds insects and rodents. It is an eyesore to the area. We would like to improve area starting with open greenway between Freeman St and Swan St. We would like to create a green trail with benches,ecology, waste receptacles and a safe healthy environment for pedestrians that may like to walk run or walk there dog. We see Cities throughout NC that are creating Green trails and as a result development in adjacent areas has occurred. Please support Friends of North End Greenway Rail Trail.
