Torontonians in Support of the Pedestrian Passage to the Island Airport

This petition has been initiated in support of the recently proposed pedestrian tunnel to Toronto's City Centre Airport. The ferry ride to the island airport, although taking only 90 seconds, is completely unnecessary and environmentally unsound. The island's Porter Airlines offers travellers an affordable and convenient destination experience and caters to a variety of people, including business persons and university students. Unlike travellers commuting to Mississauga's Lester B. Pearson International Airport, travellers using the island airport do not have to pay roughly $50 (one way) for a cab or limo ride to the airport terminal. Rather, people using Porter typically use public transportation to get to Union Station and then simply hop on a free shuttle bus which takes them directly to the ferry terminal. 
In signing this petition, whether you have flown via the island airport or not, you are showing your support for the pedestrian tunnel proposed by the Toronto Port Authority. It's time for us to let our voices be heard.
