My school just got a letter on the new dress code. We were told we cannot wear leggings unless they fit like pants, we cannot wear pajama pants, we cannot show our shoulders, if any cleavage is showing we get sent to the office, and if any stomach is showing were also sent to the office. I am concerned that they aren't worried anything about our comfort in a learning environment, but more about the fact that we match their standards. The school system isn't right. The excuse we get told is that we cannot wear these things because men stare and get distracted. I want to put an end to this. I want females to be comfortable in their learning environment and not concerned that we do not fit the schools standards. Who's with me?
