I am trying to raise awareness for the Highland One Stop Shop (HOSS).
The HOSS is a free service for adults aged 16 + who live in the Highlands of Scotland, UK and have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC/ASD).
This is a very good service which really helps lots of people in lots of ways, for example you can have 1-1 appointments with the staff to discuss problems and get help with any issue that you may have. We go out on activities together, and we can meet up with friends and are able to safely socialise with people who understand Autism.
Every year we struggle for funding to keep this valuable service going, but this year we have lost our building where our service was based. This means we need to find a new premises as well, making it even more important that we raise awareness for our service and let as many people know about us as possible.
I am writing this petition to share with the NHS Highland to show them how important this service is to all our service users and to hope they will continue to fund our very important service, and hopefully provide more funds.
I was inspired to start this petition when I realised that the HOSS is saving the NHS money being open and if they increase their funding to us, lots of people will use our service rather than accessing the NHS services. So it will save the NHS money in the long run.

Wow, guys! This is miraculous! I woke up this morning to find not only have we reached the 5000 mark, but gone way past it too! I can't thank you all enough. Please keep spreading the word, especially to anyone you know in Scotland, the area affected by this atrocity. We need everyone in Scotland to know about this. Keep up the good work, everyone.

Now we've beaten our target - twice! Please keep up the good work by spreading the word to even more people. The more signatures, the harder it will be for NHS Highland to ignore us. We can do this!
