Urgent!!! Save the Country. Demand Media Transparency

As Americans we all value freedom of speech and the media, but because of the polarization of the country and people being so selective of their news sources it is vital that we understand how trustworthy they are. I am proposing that we mandate any news outlet that tells intentional lies be required to post disclaimers and explain to their audience that the information they tell may not be accurate or face a penalty, like a fine of $200, and increase the fine if changes have not occurred, but you would need to allow a seventy two time period for them to correct it in a way people could see.  We do not want to get people in trouble for careless mistakes.
