Demand the town of Portland allow a Aldi's, Save-A-Lot or a Rulers Food in our town.

Most people in Jay County can't afford to to only have Walmart as a grocery store. With the closure of Marsh we are even more limited. Just a few weeks ago the Commercial Review printed a article about child poverty in Jay County. Why not help this cause by making it easier to purchase food for everyone's budget. Some family's are not are not able to travel out of county to get affordable food. We also have an issue with a decreased amount of children attending our Public Schools maybe one of the reasons for this is because people cannot afford to live here. Help out our own county!
