Say No To Plastic Straws!

Plastic straws are clearly very dangerous for the environment and our wildlife. As plastic straws aren't biodegradable they're around for a very long time after they've been used. That straw you used when you were 3 years old will still be around long, long after you've left the Earth. And whilst they're slowly decomposing they emit dangerous gasses like methane and contains dangerous substances like BPA and can't even be recycled. Simply cut out plastic straws from your life. Perhaps, you really like straws or simply need them due to a health issue and there's an easy solution to that too. Many companies now sell reusable straws such as compostable straws (which do need to be composted otherwise they're just as harmful as plastic straws) and paper straws which are much easier on the environment.
