witnessed something truly, deeply horrendous in Rochester, New York recently.
Footage from surveillance cameras showed a visitor in an apartment complex with a garbage bag.
Inside the bag was a live, defenseless cat that he had trapped.Then, this man took the cat and threw it down the apartment complex's garbage shoot.A witness, who was working at the complex at the time, heard a loud noise and went in search of the source…which is when they found the poor cat, suffering from the fall it had just endured. This good samaritan called for help, but
by the time rescuers arrived, the poor cat had already died from its injuries.Sign the petition to demand justice for this poor cat!This brutal attack against an innocent animal must be taken incredibly seriously.
There is no justification for such a
senseless, violent, and callous act that ended in the death of this poor cat.
Thankfully, the man has been found and arrested. But if convicted, he only faces jail time and fines --
which do nothing to actually ensure the safety of future animals and community members!What he really requires is to be kept away from animals forever.
